Tim Russert

What a beautiful shot.
The world was shocked to find out Tim Russert had passed away on Friday. I watched many of the tribute shows that NBC put out over the weekend.
The number one thing that I took away from it all was the sincere, wonderful things that people said about him. The thing resounding over and over was that Tim loved his family.
I can't remember who it was, but somebody said that the things we hear about Tim....all the wonderful things, were ALL TRUE. It got me thinking about the legacy a person leaves behind.
Will people say that I loved my family more than anything? Will they say how much my close friends meant to me? Will they say that I loved my Lord, and though I had my struggles, I wanted to be all that HE wanted me to be?
I wonder what people will say about me. I wonder what sort of legacy I will leave.
I want to make a difference.
I want my children to know how important they are to me.
I want to do this while I am ALIVE, so that I will impact those people I come in contact with in my life.
