Luke's First Day of School

Hard to believe that my baby drove his car to school on his first day of school. I meant to blog on his first day. I ended up having to take a photo with my cell phone camera. Luke is the last one left to get the picture taken on the first day of school with his backpack on! Sad in a way!
So, here he is on his first day of 10th grade!

My New Camera

*I enjoyed an amazing morning with my friend Maria at The Arboretum in Chanhassen.
She helped me begin to navigate my way through my camera. It was such a gorgeous day. These days are what the fall is all about!
God is so there in the beauty of the seasons!! It was just amazing to see all the unbelievable colors.

September 11th

9 years later, our world is no less confusing!
However, today, I am just as aware that God has it all under control! Nothing will happen that isn't completely in his clutch.

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Peace....it's what we crave!! Peace is what HE brings!!

Chloe is 17

Yesterday Chloe turned 17!
It seems so strange that she could be that old.
We went to TGIFriday's again for dinner. Luckily there were no spilled drinks this time around.
Ryan had something going on at school....so he couldn't go out with us.
After dinner we came home and Angela and I did foot care for Chloe.
She had a mini-pedicure at home. She seemed to enjoy it. Angela said that all girls should be treated like a queen on their birthday.
Then....her friends Jessica and Rachel came over for birthday cake and to hang out.
The three girls went to the MIDNIGHT show of High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Big day for my girl!!!
It's fun watching her grow up....scary, but exciting.

Lakeville Homecoming 2008

Chloe and Ryan are now JUNIORS!!!

Isaiah is now a FRESHMAN!!!
NO WAY!
This was a VERY FUN homecoming Friday.
Lakeville South won their football game too!
We froze our patooties off at the game...but we had fun!!
Chloe, Ryan, Isaiah and a bunch of others went out to Applebees afterward for half price appetizers.

Catching Up

It's been a long time since I have written on here.
On Friday night I had some friends over to hang out. We had a few chuckles and some collegial discussions.



On Saturday we went to Farmington Lanes and did some atomic bowling, but I accidentally forgot my camera. SO, I have no pictures. You KNOW how I hate that.

On Sunday we went to church, out to lunch, and back home for a Vikings game.
We all went to the Lion King last night at the Orpheum Theater.
It was SO AMAZING!
The kids loved it, and so did Angela and I.
