Chloe's 19th Birthday

I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you are. From you I have learned patience, I have experienced the bond of having a daughter, and I have evolved. I am a better person for having you in my life.

I will miss spending this day with you.

Happy 19th birthday Chloe!!

Chloe is 17

Yesterday Chloe turned 17!
It seems so strange that she could be that old.
We went to TGIFriday's again for dinner. Luckily there were no spilled drinks this time around.
Ryan had something going on at school....so he couldn't go out with us.
After dinner we came home and Angela and I did foot care for Chloe.
She had a mini-pedicure at home. She seemed to enjoy it. Angela said that all girls should be treated like a queen on their birthday.

Then....her friends Jessica and Rachel came over for birthday cake and to hang out.
The three girls went to the MIDNIGHT show of High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Big day for my girl!!!
It's fun watching her grow up....scary, but exciting.

I love you Chloe!

Friday Night Fun

Last night we went out to Green Mill to celebrate my birthday a few days early.
We had girls night. It was Kathy, Beth, Jennifer, Angela and I. We had some seriously good grub. Then we came back to our house for conversation, coffee, chuckles, cake....and PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!
I got some great stuff: gift cards, clothes, jewelry, a purse, candle and CANDY CORN!
It was such a fun night.
We met for dinner at 6:00. At 1:00 AM everybody headed for home.
I truly cherish these people.

Ryan Turns 16

On Monday Ryan turned 16!!
We started the day out with double chocolate muffins for breakfast.
Then, after school, we went out to dinner to the Olive Garden for pasta.
Ryan has grown so old and wise that he thought he heard the
pasta speaking to him.

The people came and sang to Ryan too.
The memorable thing that happened on
THIS birthday was the fact that Luke and Ryan spilled pasta all over the back of the van.
A to go box did NOT make it safely home.
This was very reminiscent of Chloe's birthday
when Isaiah got a slushy in his lap.

Ryan received an Ipod from us, and a new snowboard from his dad.
Ryan picked out pink Barbie cupcakes for his birthday cake.
They were a big hit. The kids were even
arguing over who got the better ring.
He said he had a good birthday!

Now we are just waiting for the two
16 year olds to get their licenses.

Sweet Sixteen

a

Today is Chloe's SWEET SIXTEEN birthday.
After school, we went to TGIFridays for dinner.

We ate and had funny table things.
We seem to make a quite commotion when we go out.

Luke, while messing around in Ryan's letter jacket,
just happened to knock over Isaiah's drink...
all over his pants.
I am pretty sure the folks at TGIFriday's were happy
to see us leave.

Chloe had a choir concert at Lakeville South at 7:30.
After that, we came home and opened gifts.
It is so hard to believe that my little girl is 16!
I LOVE YOU CHLOE!
